This easy stripes dishcloth knitting pattern is a great for beginners.
As I’m sure you know by now, I love knitting and crocheting. I love pretty much anything crafting. Knitting dishcloths is one of my favorite things to do in the evening. It’s relaxing and keeps me from snacking. Yup, nighttime snacking is something I struggle with.

This dishcloth knitting pattern is pretty simple and creates a different look on each side of the dishcloth. Since spring is in full force here I’ve chosen some spring colors for these dishcloths.
Size 7 Knitting Needles
CO -cast on
BO- Bind Off
Rows 1-5: Knit
Row 6: K3, P24, K3
Row 7: Knit
Row 8: Knit
Row 9: Knit
Repeat rows 6 through 9, 9 times.
You should be starting on the “wrong” side for the next row. Now knit the next 3 rows.
All that’s left to do is to weave your loose ends in. You’ll notice that each side of the dishcloth looks different. That’s what I love about this pattern.
Knitted dishcloths are an easy way to bring some color into your kitchen and great to give as gifts.
Do you have a favorite dishcloth knitting pattern? I’d love to try it.
